## Description

John Poelstra brings physiotherapy and judo together through a small-scale, community-focused practice in Franeker, serving people across the region. The physiotherapy practice has operated since 2002, with experience dating back to John Poelstra’s professional training in 1991. Its approach emphasizes personalized care, flexibility, practical advice and support for recovery and physical wellbeing. Services include tailored physiotherapy, sports rehabilitation, the RRS back rehabilitation system, medical fitness and sports massage. The practice also offers information about treatment fees and appointments, and is available seven days a week by phone or WhatsApp for questions and bookings.

Alongside physiotherapy, Sportschool Poelstra runs a judo school in northwest Friesland. Its program welcomes children and adults, with opportunities to participate recreationally or in competition. The school provides training at several locations and organizes events, including the Friese Masters. Together, the practice and judo school support people seeking help with physical complaints, rehabilitation, fitness or sporting development.
