## Description

**Wiener Library and Jewish Central Information Office (JCIO)**

The Wiener Library, founded by Dr. Alfred Wiener in the 1920s, serves as an essential resource dedicated to documenting the Holocaust and combating antisemitism. Established in Germany, the library began as a response to the rising tide of right-wing antisemitism and has evolved into a leading center for Holocaust education and research. Its mission encompasses engaging scholars, researchers, and the public in understanding the historical context of the Holocaust through dynamic educational programs.

In partnership with the Jewish Central Information Office (JCIO), the library collects and preserves testimonies, documents, and resources pertaining to antisemitism and persecution. This collaboration further enriches its expansive collection, which is recognized as one of the largest and most respected archives in the world. Located in Russell Square since 2011, the Wiener Library is committed to improving access to its collections to ensure they serve as a living memorial, fostering awareness and tolerance in contemporary society.
