## Description

Pojizerský Folklorní Festival is a regional cultural event dedicated to celebrating and sharing folk traditions. Based in the Pojizeří area of the Czech Republic, the festival brings together local performers and audiences for a lively program of music, dance, singing, and community activities. Its 13th edition was scheduled for 16 May 2026 in the parish grounds of Mnichovo Hradiště, with a full day of performances and supporting events.

Alongside stage appearances, visitors can explore a fair featuring handmade crafts and enjoy food and other treats. The festival also promotes folk culture throughout the year through its website, which includes updates, event programmes, performer introductions, photographs, videos, and a folk blog. Articles cover regional customs and traditions, traditional cooking, and local cultural history. The programme has also featured a concert by a cimbalom band. Through its annual gathering and ongoing educational content, Pojizerský Folklorní Festival offers a welcoming platform for experiencing and learning about the region’s folk heritage.
