## Description

KUD Police Dubove is a Slovenian cultural and artistic association and publishing house dedicated to books that stay with readers beyond the final page. It publishes quality translated fiction alongside original literary and humanities works, with a focus on titles that encourage reflection. Its catalogue spans adult and children’s books, poetry, prose, and other literary forms, presented in several named collections. Readers can purchase individual titles or explore the Knjige sveta offers and books selected for reading groups.

Beyond publishing, KUD Police Dubove supports a community of readers through book clubs, literary events, discussions, and book fairs. It also provides online training for book-club moderators, with sessions for different experience levels, and hosts a monthly moderators’ forum. The association shares practical and professional knowledge about reading groups, literature, and publishing through educational articles on Samozaložba.si. Its activities bring together authors, translators, readers, and cultural partners, helping foster informed discussion and a wider culture of reading. KUD Police Dubove holds public-interest association status and invites supporters to contribute through donations.
