The South Metro Public Safety Training Facility is committed to making our communities safer by providing high-quality, cost-effective training and development for public safety organizations. Operating under a joint powers agreement between the Cities of Bloomington, Eden Prairie, Edina, and the Metropolitan Airports Commission, our mission is to ensure premier public safety services through shared resources. For public safety personnel, we offer a range of facilities, rentals, and courses to enhance their skills and knowledge.

Our training space features nearly 198,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor areas, including classrooms equipped with media setups, overhead projectors, screens, and marker boards. With options ranging from 30 to 80 seats, our classrooms can accommodate various group sizes. Evening and half-day rates are also available for added convenience.
