## Description

PolicyLink is a national research and action institute dedicated to advancing racial and economic equity through their innovative approach called Lifting Up What Works®. Their mission is to promote inclusive economic growth, eliminate poverty, reduce inequality, and increase mobility. PolicyLink focuses on three core areas to achieve their goals. In the Equitable Economy arena, they strive to create economic inclusion and ownership by advocating for policies that uplift marginalized communities. Their Healthy Communities of Opportunity initiative aims to build communities that provide equal opportunities for everyone through equitable development, infrastructure investments, and social capital. Lastly, they work to establish a Just Society by advocating for fair systems and institutions that are free from racial bias and promote democratic participation. To achieve their mission, PolicyLink combines advocacy, applied research, network engagement, and implementation capacity. By connecting local innovations to policy and providing stakeholders with essential data and tools, PolicyLink empowers leaders and communities to advance equity and create a just and fair society.
