# Polls for Gmail

- **Primary alias:** `pollsforgmail.com`

## Description

Polls for Gmail is a polling tool designed to make gathering opinions and coordinating schedules simple within Gmail. Its Gmail add-on and Chrome extension let users create and insert polls into email drafts, so recipients can vote directly from their inbox without creating an account, installing an app, or following a separate link. The service is free to start, and its Chrome extension offers a faster poll-building experience with a live preview and results sidebar.

Poll creators can ask single- or multiple-choice questions, offer date and time slots, and track responses on a live dashboard. Results include vote counts and percentages, and creators can close polls, edit them after sending, receive vote alerts, and share summaries by email. For scheduling polls, Google Calendar can open with the winning time and recipients ready to review. Additional formats include star ratings, ranked choice, Yes/No approvals, and written responses. Pro features include multi-question polls, while poll designs offer several layouts and color themes.
