This industrial hub boasts a rich history of industrial promotion since its establishment in 1964, employing around 50,000 people in the metropolitan area. Approximately 81% of companies in the region are currently involved in new process development projects, with an impressive investment of €1.2 billion dedicated to factory expansions and improvements in the past six years.
