Polygence is a brand that offers an exciting opportunity for high school students to earn college credits through their partnership with UCIxGATI. In collaboration with the Gifted and Talented Institute at the University of California Irvine, Polygence awards college credits to students who write research papers in their mentorship programs. This exclusive 3-credit program is partially self-paced and fully remote, making it a convenient addition to the Polygence mentorship program.

Students have access to the UCI library and its resources, submit their research to an online academic journal, and receive an A/B/C/D letter grade for their papers. The program is open to students who have graduated from middle school and have a high school GPA of 3. 3 or higher.

Cohorts are offered in the spring, summer, and fall, and interested students can apply through Polygence.
