## Description

Groupe Pomona is France's leading delivered food distributor to food service professionals, with roots going back to 27 March 1912, when founder Max Monnot received his very first delivery of bananas as an importer and distributor of fruits and vegetables. Over more than a century, the company has grown into a major national food wholesale group, serving professionals across commercial and institutional catering, proximity retail, supermarkets, and export markets through seven specialised distribution networks — TerreAzur (fresh fruits, vegetables and seafood), PassionFroid (fresh meat, dairy and frozen products), EpiSaveurs (grocery, beverages and hygiene products), Relais d'Or (independent commercial catering), Délice & Création (artisan bakers and pastry chefs), Saveurs d'Antoine (butchers, charcutiers and small food retailers), and Pomona Iberia (food service professionals in Spain). Today, Pomona employs 12,300 people, serves 230,000 clients, and operates from 200 sites across France — making it an indispensable partner for the entire French food service industry.
