## Description

Poni-Haan Ratsastajat ry (PHR) is a riding club based at Poni-Haka Riding School in Hakunila, Vantaa, and is described as one of Finland’s largest riding clubs. It has more than 500 members, with adults making up about half and children and young people the other half. The club’s central focus is active youth work, supported by a varied programme of riding competitions, training and horse-themed clubs. Its activities also include seasonal gatherings and events for members, alongside opportunities to take part in club operations. PHR provides information and resources for its community through competition calendars, rules, results, guidance for competitors and details about competition permits. Members can find information on membership fees and benefits, member guidance and youth activities. The club also offers club clothing through its online shop and shares news through newsletters and social media. Based at a riding school, PHR brings riders of different ages together around equestrian activities, learning and participation, supporting both competitive involvement and social experiences connected with horses.
