## Description

Ponte Kö e.V. is a nonprofit Petö support association based in Weißenfels, Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. Founded in 1997, it promotes greater independence and improved quality of life for children and adults with cerebral movement disorders through holistic conductive education based on the Petö approach. Its work combines physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy and educational support, addressing movement and development as part of an integrated program.

The association runs block-style therapy weeks three times a year, in winter, summer and autumn, at its therapy rooms in Weißenfels. Children and young people take part in age-appropriate groups, with support tailored to their abilities and aimed at helping them achieve what they can with their own capabilities. Ponte Kö describes its central goal as maximizing independence from other people and assistive devices.

The association also shares information about the Petö method, provides registration details for its therapy weeks and publishes families’ experiences. Community members can support its work through membership or donations.
