## Description

The United States Pony Clubs, Inc. (USPC), also known as Pony Club, is the largest equine educational organization in North America. Founded in 1954 and originally based on Great Britain’s The Pony Club, it helps people of varied ages and experience develop riding skills and learn the care and well-being of horses. Its curriculum combines mounted and unmounted lessons, hands-on activities, local and national testing, certifications, and virtual learning.

USPC supports members through clubs and centers across the country, with options for participating, supporting, professional, and online memberships. Its programs include education in equestrian disciplines, safety resources, competitions, awards, international exchanges, leadership opportunities, and college scholarships. Members can also access teaching materials, educational platforms, recognition programs, and events such as the national convention.

The organization aims to build confident leaders, strengthen communities, and foster lasting connections through horsemanship. Alongside equine knowledge, members develop skills, habits, and values they can apply in education, careers, volunteering, and other pursuits. Pony Club also offers resources and opportunities for instructors, volunteers, clubs, and supporters.
