## Description

Poorvam is a multidisciplinary academic and research platform published by Dhvani Publication. It brings together peer-reviewed scholarship, critical ideas, classical learning, and creative work, with a focus on culture, philosophy, literature, and the arts. Its main scholarly outlet, the Poorvam International Journal of Creative Arts and Cultural Expressions (PIJCACE), is an open-access, double-blind peer-reviewed journal published twice a year. Readers can explore current and archived issues, research papers, reviews, author guidelines, and publication ethics information, while scholars can submit manuscripts and join its academic community.

Beyond the journal, Poorvam Ideas features essays, interviews, dialogues, and translations. The platform also offers PORE, an emerging open research infrastructure for projects, datasets, AI, field research, and documentation related to India’s intellectual and cultural traditions. Its wider programme includes courses, seminars, events, newsletters, a scholars directory, and tools for verifying certificates and author identifiers. Through the Anupurvi store and Dhvani Imprints, Poorvam publishes books and editions in print and ebook formats.
