POPLINE is an internationally recognized resource dedicated to providing curated access to vital health and natural sciences literature. Established in 1973 as part of the Population Information Program, POPLINE has built a comprehensive database over its 45-year history, catering mainly to the needs of clients in developing countries. With a collection that includes over 380,000 records, POPLINE offers full-text documents sourced from libraries worldwide, including esteemed institutions like the National Library of Medicine in the USA and the British Library in the UK. The platform specializes in delivering journal articles and book chapters, often unique to POPLINE, which are scanned in a copyright-compliant manner. Through its efficient document delivery services, users can receive requested materials in PDF format, usually within one workday. POPLINE also offers tailored pricing, including discounted rates for students from less-developed countries, ensuring broader access to essential scientific knowledge.
