## Description

Poppa Wahoo is a family-run fishing charter and boat tour business based in Islamorada in the Florida Keys. Founded by brothers David and Brian Epstein, sons of longtime Miami Herald fishing editor Bob Epstein, the business draws on decades of local fishing experience. Its fleet includes two Hatteras sportfishing boats for offshore trips, a Sea Hunt bay boat for nearshore and reef fishing, and a Barletta tritoon for sandbar and sunset outings. Private trips accommodate groups of up to six, with a smaller capacity on the bay boat.

Charter options include half- and full-day deep-sea fishing, nearshore and reef trips, evening shark excursions, and overnight swordfish expeditions. Guests can target species such as mahi mahi, wahoo, sailfish, tuna, marlin, grouper, and snapper. For a more relaxed day, the company offers sandbar trips and sunset cruises, as well as snorkeling outings. Fishing rates include a captain and mate, rods, tackle, bait, licenses, ice, and catch cleaning at the dock. Optional chef-catered meals are also available.
