## Description

Poppy Bee creates handcrafted photography backdrops and provides food photography education for photographers seeking artistry, quality, and practical skills. Founded around the collaboration of an artist and a photographer, the brand makes its surfaces by hand, emphasizing distinctive designs rather than factory-made or AI-generated patterns. Its collections include wood, stone, metal, and painted looks, with styles ranging from light and airy to dark and moody, bold, rustic, and richly textured. Backdrops are also organized by color, and customers can shop bundles and discounted “Backdrop Seconds.”

Alongside its products, Poppy Bee offers online classes and in-person photography workshops focused on food photography. Courses cover topics such as lighting, creating repeatable shots, and developing an artistic approach, helping photographers build confidence and improve their work. The brand also shares resources, including a free guide to selecting food photography props, as well as articles and information about its process. Customer testimonials highlight the surfaces’ realistic texture, matte finish, portability, and versatility for use as either backgrounds or shooting surfaces.
