## Description

PopUp ry is a Finnish association founded in 2016 to promote participation in the arts, collaboration between art forms, and activities combining arts and physical pursuits. It works to make creative activities more accessible through initiatives, events, communications, and publications, while also organizing practical hobby programs.

In Sipoo, PopUp ry offers open-enrollment sessions for children and young people, including parkour, hobbyhorse coaching, and introductory martial arts. Activities welcome participants regardless of previous experience, and sessions are organized for different age groups. The association also develops creative programs in film, animation, and visual arts through its broader projects and activities.

PopUp ry contributes to the Finnish Model for Leisure Activities, which aims to expand opportunities for young people to pursue hobbies. Its projects include work to involve young people in planning and delivering activities for upper-secondary students. The association also shares guidance for hobby leaders and organizers, including a publication on supporting children’s participation.
