## Description

Porca Loc is an Italian game localization collective dedicated to giving indie games a clear and authentic voice for local audiences. Comprising four seasoned freelancers with decades of collective experience, Porca Loc emphasizes the importance of human translation, believing that video games, as a vital cultural medium, deserve to be localized with skill, care, and expertise. Their process is rooted in the understanding that effective localization is essential to a game's success and overall player experience. To ensure quality, they advocate for direct communication among all stakeholders involved in a game's development, facilitating a deeper comprehension of the game's essence. The team members bring diverse backgrounds and personal passions to their craft, from a love of old-school anime and rhythm games to an obsession with quirky narratives and creative writing. By focusing on the nuanced art of localization, Porca Loc aspires to bridge cultural gaps and allow indie games to resonate meaningfully with Italian players.
