## Description

Porchlight Music Theatre is a renowned Chicago-based brand deeply committed to engaging and enriching the community through the power of music theatre. They offer a wide range of products and services to cater to diverse audiences. With their revitalized Community Outreach Program, Porchlight Music Theatre aims to nurture the understanding and appreciation of the music theatre genre among youth and underserved populations. They host around 300-500 guests per season, including many who experience live, professional theater for the first time through this program. Through partnerships with organizations like the Humanities Department at Kennedy-King College and Storycatchers Theatre, Porchlight Music Theatre regularly hosts intergenerational groups, bringing the magic of live performances to all. In the spirit of giving back, Porchlight Music Theatre provides tickets for free or at greatly reduced prices to members of the Chicago-area community who may not have the means to attend their performances. They also contribute to Season of Concern, raising funds for those in the community suffering from AIDS and HIV. Additionally, Porchlight Music Theatre supports not-for-profit fundraisers by donating gift certificates for their productions, further strengthening their commitment to the Chicagoland community. Overall, Porchlight Music Theatre is a brand that goes above and beyond to create a vibrant and inclusive music theatre culture, making the joy and magic of live performances accessible to all.
