## Description

Schweizerische Rheinhäfen, also known as the Port of Switzerland, is a globally connected brand with three main locations in Basel, Muttenz, and Birsfelden. Established in 2008 through the merging of Rheinhäfen Basel-Landschaft and Rheinschifffahrtsdirektion Basel-Stadt, Schweizerische Rheinhäfen has successfully positioned itself as a national transportation hub on the Rotterdam-Basel-Genoa freight corridor. With their state-of-the-art infrastructure, Schweizerische Rheinhäfen ensure efficient handling of goods, making the harbor an attractive logistics destination for the future. Annually, over six million tons of goods and more than 100,000 containers are processed through the Basel-Kleinhüningen, Birsfelden, and Muttenz Au port sections, constituting approximately 12% of Switzerland's imports. The brand is also responsible for facilitating the shipment of every third liter of mineral oil and every fourth container through its terminals.
