## Description

PortAverta is a social promotion fund supporting projects and initiatives that benefit communities in the province of Lecco, Italy. Its work focuses on helping young people facing personal, economic or social hardship through education, training and pathways into employment. The fund also encourages small associations to collaborate on initiatives that strengthen social cohesion and improve community life, with attention to people in vulnerable circumstances, the environment and learning about new technologies.

PortAverta raises donations from its promoters and other supporters, then directs funding to selected local projects. A trusted advisory committee helps assess proposals and review their social impact. Supported initiatives span family services, education, volunteering, culture, environmental care and assistance for people in need. Examples include a family space for children aged zero to three, support for youth scholarships, community events, theatre, civil protection equipment and educational costs for refugee children.

Through donations to the fund or specific projects, PortAverta invites supporters to contribute to practical opportunities and a more connected, inclusive local community.
