## Description

Port Sunlight Wheelers is a British Cycling-affiliated cycling club based on the Wirral Peninsula in north-west England. With a history spanning seven decades, the club has included National Champions and Olympians among its former members and now welcomes more than 150 cyclists of different ages and abilities. It describes itself as friendly and inclusive, offering group rides and opportunities to take part in road racing, time trials and cyclocross.

Regular rides depart from Nets Cafe in Little Neston. The popular Sunday club ride is generally steady-paced and covers around 60 to 70 miles, making it a way for prospective members to experience the club. Saturday women-only rides alternate between a flatter, steady route of about 40 miles and a faster, hillier ride of 40 to 50 miles. During summer, experienced riders can also join the Tuesday evening chain gang, a demanding training ride involving close, fast-paced group cycling. Additional Sunday routes may be available. The club’s website provides information about rides, events, results, training, maintenance and repair, and club history.
