## Description

Positive Money is an organisation working to make the economic and financial system fairer by shifting power over money from banks to people. It collaborates with economists, academics, journalists, policymakers and the public in the UK and internationally, with a focus on social justice and a liveable planet.

Its work covers macroeconomics, green finance, finance and democracy, housing, racial economic justice and the future of money. Across these areas, Positive Money examines how economic and financial systems operate and advocates changes to support a fairer, greener future. Its housing work challenges the treatment of homes as financial assets, while its research on money considers access to payments and the role of money as a public good.

The organisation shares its work through campaigns, petitions, policy publications, videos, blog posts and press releases. Topics include inflation, climate-related finance, central banking, housing and the influence of the financial sector. Positive Money also provides campaign updates and opportunities for the public to get involved, including through petitions and donations.
