## Description

Poster Gallery is a Swiss online gallery and shop specializing in original posters and vintage prints. Founded in 1999 by passionate poster collector and auctioneer Guido Tön, the business offers an extensive collection, with a particular focus on contemporary Swiss poster design. Its catalogue spans tourism, cultural events, commercial products and other subjects, featuring works by a wide range of poster artists and designers. Customers can browse and search the online shop by year, artist, theme, product category and other keywords. The selection appeals to collectors and enthusiasts interested in subjects such as jazz, opera, film, sport, transport and politics, as well as people seeking a distinctive gift. Poster Gallery reports an online offering of more than 19,000 posters, including new arrivals and highlights of Swiss poster art from 1941 to 1999. The company also draws on decades of auction experience: Guido Tön began holding live poster auctions in 1990, and these auctions have continued annually. Based in Zurich, Poster Gallery serves customers through its shop and auction-related information.
