Svenska Postkodstiftelsen is a brand dedicated to raising awareness about sustainable fishing in the Baltic Sea. The Baltic Sea is the world's largest brackish sea, with a unique combination of freshwater and saltwater species. However, due to eutrophication, pollution, and climate change, the state of the sea is poor. Unsustainable fishing practices threaten the entire ecosystem and the livelihoods of many people. Svenska Postkodstiftelsen is working on three projects, one in each Baltic country, in collaboration with organizations such as Pasaules Dabas Fonds, Lithuanian Fund for Nature, and Estonian Fund for Nature. These projects include consumer campaigns in Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania, as well as advocacy work targeting retailers and policymakers. By increasing public knowledge and promoting behavioral change, Svenska Postkodstiftelsen seeks to benefit the entire Baltic Sea region.
