## Description

Potter Valley Rodeo is a cherished community event that has been a cornerstone of local tradition since its inception in 1946. Set in the heart of downtown Potter Valley, this annual Spring Festival and Rodeo has evolved into a vibrant three-day celebration, attracting visitors from across Northern California. The event not only showcases thrilling rodeo performances but also serves as a major fundraiser for local non-profits, including the Potter Valley Volunteer Fire Department and local schools.

Spearheaded by an all-volunteer committee, the rodeo aims to enhance community engagement while supporting initiatives like scholarships for youth activities. The organization has merged with the Potter Valley Community Parks and Recreation to further strengthen its community impact. In addition to the main rodeo, special events such as the Lisa Christofferson Memorial Gymkhana provide opportunities for local youth to participate while honoring a beloved community member. With future plans for park enhancements, Potter Valley Rodeo remains a true testament to the spirit and unity of its community.
