## Description

POuL, or Politecnico Open Unix Labs, is a vibrant, non-profit organization founded in December 2001 by a group of dedicated students from the Politecnico di Milano. The association is committed to advancing free and open-source software (FOSS) and promoting its adoption within the university environment over proprietary alternatives.

POuL hosts a variety of events, including conferences and workshops, aimed at spreading awareness and understanding of FOSS principles, while also serving as a platform for innovative ideas. Through publishing written content, POuL shares knowledge with the global FOSS community and fosters collaboration with like-minded organizations to create a more equitable world.

The organization champions a culture of open communication, encouraging an experience-driven mindset and advocating for freedom of information, meritocracy, and inclusivity against all forms of discrimination. POuL is located on the ground floor of Building 9A at Campus Leonardo, inviting all interested individuals to join their discussions or visit.
