Our mission is to equip educators with the tools and support they need to create an equitable classroom experience for all students. Since our establishment in 2003, we have been committed to building the capacity of educators to create and sustain powerful public schools that prepare every student for college, career, and life.

Over the years, we have played a pivotal role in the education landscape, from launching the first 10 Pilot Schools in LAUSD in 2007, to becoming the first regional Linked Learning Center in 2011. We continuously adapt to meet the changing needs of the education community, including expanding our services virtually during the pandemic. At Center4PowerfulEd, we offer a range of services such as coaching, technical assistance, and professional development.

We also have initiatives focused on Black student excellence, Latino student excellence, and special education student excellence. Our dedicated team of experts, led by Dr. Alicia Montgomery, works tirelessly to support educators in their journey of continuous improvement.
