PowerUP is a clean-tech product development company that aims to make clean appliances accessible and affordable to everyone. With a focus on low-income contexts, our mission is to develop irresistible products that allow all people to utilize the cleanest modern technology. Our products specifically cater to primarily women customers, helping them cook faster, cheaper, and with fewer carbon emissions, ultimately giving them greater control over their time, finances, and health. It is alarming to note that approximately 2.6 billion people still rely on dirty fuels for cooking, leading to around 4 million deaths annually. Women, in particular, disproportionately suffer from the health, time, and financial costs associated with dirty cooking. Moreover, the destruction of the environment due to inefficient fuels and deforestation adds to the escalating problem. PowerUP seeks to become the leading provider of emissions-reducing products that offer income and health benefits to our customers in low and middle-income countries. Our goal is to disrupt deeply ingrained, unsafe practices by introducing innovative and sustainable alternatives.
