## Description

The PPMA Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to raising awareness and supporting individuals affected by hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM), a genetic heart disease that impacts 1 in 500 people in the U.S. Established in memory of Peter Antonini, a member of the San Francisco Fire Department, the foundation aims to prevent sudden cardiac arrest by advocating for early detection and promoting heart health education. With a mission to honor Peter's legacy, the PPMA Foundation provides resources, raises funds, and collaborates with medical professionals and researchers to advance the understanding and treatment of HCM. You can support their efforts by donating through their website or by signing up for AmazonSmile, where a percentage of your Amazon Prime purchases will be donated to the PPMA Foundation. Stay informed with their newsletter and explore their photo gallery on flickr. Together, we can make a difference in the fight against HCM.
