## Description

The Philippine Public Safety Academy (PPSA) strives to cultivate future leaders in public safety through programs designed to instill integrity and courage. Established under the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) in March 2022, the academy bridges the Philippine National Police Academy (PNPA) and the Philippine National Police (PNP). PPSA's inaugural batch of 100 cadets, representing both male and female officers from the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) and the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP), is integral in shaping the future of public safety in the Philippines.

PPSA offers specialized degree programs, including Bachelor of Science in Fire Protection Administration (BSFPA) and Bachelor of Science in Penology and Corrections Administration (BSPCA), which are delivered through a comprehensive two-year trimestral system. Through rigorous training, including physical fitness, technical assessments, and moral character evaluations, PPSA ensures that its graduates are equipped with the necessary skills to effectively serve in their respective fields. Join PPSA on its mission to fortify public safety and security in the nation.
