## Description

Prairie Tornado Outfitters is a small South Dakota outfitter specializing in guided spring snow goose hunts. Drawing on more than 20 years of observing waterfowl migration, the team plans each hunt around bird movement and feeding patterns. Depending on conditions, guides may use a large decoy spread along a migration route or set up on a field where geese have recently fed. The outfitter emphasizes a personal experience, experienced guides, quality equipment, and focused attention, limiting operations to two client groups at a time so spreads can be moved as needed.

Hunts are available from March through early April, with early or later dates dependent on migration. Rates are $450 per person per day for one- or two-day hunts and $350 per person per day for trips of three days or more. Children under 16 hunt free with a paying adult; discounts are offered to active-duty military, veterans, and first responders. Group rates are available by inquiry.
