## Description

Based in Fauglia, in the province of Pisa, it creates hands-on learning experiences for children, young people and adults, working with schools, museums, parks, associations and other organisations. Its school programmes include lessons, workshops and themed activity days, held either at educational venues or on school premises. Museum-based activities are offered in collaboration with the Natural History Museum in Calci and the Museum of Camaiore.

The initiative also organises leisure-time workshops, courses, excursions, themed events and birthday parties. Through experimental archaeology, participants can explore prehistoric technologies by recreating artefacts and techniques, including toolmaking, pottery production and primitive firing methods. preiSTORIE develops inclusive projects for children and adults with different disabilities, aiming to make cultural heritage more accessible.

Its work is led by archaeologists Marcella Parisi, who specialises in cultural heritage education, and Jacopo, a doctoral researcher in prehistoric archaeology at the University of Pisa. Their approach combines practical participation, sensory engagement and public learning.
