## Description

Presepe Vivente di Equi Terme APS is a community association founded in 1986 by residents passionate about their historic village and its traditions. Based in Equi Terme, in the Lunigiana area of Tuscany, it works to promote local culture, heritage, and the surrounding landscape through events throughout the year. Its best-known event is the Presepe Vivente, a living Nativity staged in the medieval village during the Christmas season. Visitors follow atmospheric streets brought to life by costumed participants, artisan workshops, and the aromas of local specialties, creating an immersive experience for families and other guests. The association also highlights the journey to the village through a special train service, presented as a scenic and more sustainable way to travel along a historic route with views of the Apuan Alps. In summer, it organizes Equi Summer Outdoors, a festival featuring activities such as running, mountain biking, and walking, alongside traditional food, music, and local hospitality. Together, these events invite visitors to discover Equi Terme and Lunigiana in every season.
