## Description

Welcome to the Presidential Pet Museum, where we celebrate the furry companions of the United States presidents. Led by our Director, Bill WoofDriver Helman, an experienced urban dog musher and animal advocate, our museum aims to honor and acknowledge the First Pets who have influenced the lives of presidential families throughout history. With over twenty years of experience and a deep interest in both animals and history, Bill is uniquely qualified to share this fascinating facet of American history with the wider public. In addition to our Director, we are proud to have Andrew Hager as our Historian-in-Residence. With his background in Political Science and teaching, Andrew brings a wealth of knowledge to our museum. He lives with his guide dog Sammy, a Labrador Retriever trained to assist the blind. Explore the Presidential Pet Museum to learn more about the First Pets and their impact on the White House. And don't forget to visit our gift shop for unique and presidential-themed t-shirts, mugs, and more!.
