## Description

Pretzel Therapeutics is a biotechnology company developing treatments that address the genetic roots of mitochondrial dysfunction. Its approach focuses on mitochondria, the structures that power cellular energy, with the goal of targeting disease at its source. The company is advancing a new class of medicines designed to influence cellular energetics and open new therapeutic pathways.

Pretzel’s pipeline is intended to restore mitochondrial function, improve the way cells generate and use energy, and potentially stop or reverse disease progression. Its programs focus on neurological and rare diseases associated with low mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA), an underlying factor in the conditions it seeks to address. By targeting this fundamental aspect of disease biology, Pretzel aims to create meaningful therapeutic impact across multiple indications where unmet medical need is high.

The company shares information about its science and pipeline, publications and presentations, news, and career opportunities. Through its mitochondrial-focused research and medicine development, Pretzel Therapeutics is working to expand treatment possibilities for people affected by diseases linked to impaired cellular energetics.
