## Description

Pride Stables, operated by the Central Ontario Developmental Riding Program (CODRP), is a registered charity providing therapeutic horseback riding for people with disabilities. Based in the Cambridge, Kitchener, and Waterloo area, the organization welcomes more than 340 riders each week and is supported by staff, certified instructors, a board of directors, and over 350 volunteers.

Its year-round riding classes run in fall, winter, and spring, with lessons adapted to each rider’s abilities. Through riding and targeted exercises, participants can work on strength, flexibility, coordination, and personal development while building connections with horses, instructors, and volunteers. Camp Pride is an eight-week summer day camp offering children opportunities for inclusive learning and fun.

Pride Stables also supports its programs through community fundraising, including seasonal plant sales and merchandise, and accepts donations through CanadaHelps. Contributions help care for therapy horses, provide lessons and financial assistance to families, and maintain facilities. With an emphasis on inclusion, respect, and belonging, Pride Stables offers a welcoming community for riders, families, and volunteers.
