## Description

Prime 27:17 is an elite baseball club based in the Kansas City metropolitan area, serving youth players through college showcase levels. Guided by the principle in Proverbs 27:17, “As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another,” the club aims to help athletes become skilled players, strong teammates, and responsible young men. Founded and led by Coach Jerrod Ryherd, Prime is intentionally kept small so coaches can provide focused attention and individualized instruction to each athlete.

The club offers teams across multiple age groups, player development and recruiting resources, and year-round baseball training. Players compete in Prep Baseball and Perfect Game tournaments in and around Kansas City, travel regionally for high-level competition, and take part in national showcase events as they get older. Training options include strength and speed development, position-specific small groups, private lessons, and baseball-focused programs delivered with experienced coaches and certified trainers. Prime athletes also train at AdventHealth Sports Park at Bluhawk and can access tailored programs through partners Johnny Beck and Bobby Stroupe.
