## Description

PRIMUS is a Serbian development center focused on prevention and support through services that connect health, social care, education, and community organizations. Its work addresses the needs of people and families facing vulnerability, with an emphasis on accessible, person-centered assistance and reducing risks before they deepen. Programs include Terenski saradnik, an outreach service that brings support directly to people in vulnerable situations, and Porodični asistent, which helps individuals and families organize everyday life and responsibilities. PRIMUS also works on HIV and sexually transmitted infection prevention, counseling and testing, including initiatives related to PrEP and hepatitis C testing. Its educational activities cover topics such as school safety, sexual health, and prevention, while its projects support older people’s access to health and social services. The organization collaborates with public health institutions, social-care professionals, and civil society groups, and contributes to training, research, and service development. Through these programs and partnerships, PRIMUS seeks to strengthen prevention, improve support systems, and promote safer, more inclusive communities.
