## Description

PRIOR is one of Norway’s best-known grocery brands, owned by Nortura SA and established in 1977. It offers a broad range of chicken, turkey and egg products sourced from Norwegian farmers, bringing convenient ingredients and meals to everyday cooking. Its products include fresh eggs, chicken meatballs, crispy bites and burgers, turkey cuts, chicken-and-turkey bacon, and ready-made mini omelettes in several varieties. PRIOR also shares recipes and practical cooking inspiration, from quick weeknight meals and air-fryer dishes to grilled chicken and festive turkey. Customers can trace an egg to the farmer responsible for the hens by entering the code printed on its shell. The brand provides information about animal welfare, health and sustainability, including its farmers’ transition to slower-growing chickens and details about Norwegian feed. Through PRIOR Pluss, it also offers an online product range described as providing functional health benefits based on ingredients from Norwegian farmers. PRIOR products are available through retailers including Meny and Oda.
