## Description

Pediatric Research in Sports Medicine (PRiSM) is a multidisciplinary professional society founded in 2012 to strengthen collaboration in pediatric and adolescent sports medicine. Its mission is to advance the field worldwide through collaborative research and education, with a focus on the young athlete as a whole. PRiSM brings together physicians, allied health professionals, postgraduate trainees, and students who share an interest in improving knowledge and care for young athletes. The society supports research collaboration across locations and disciplines, addressing the need for high-quality evidence on injuries that are specific to children and adolescents and less common than adult injuries.

PRiSM offers membership, research interest groups and workgroups, research grants, publications, and educational resources. Members can access webinars, the Pediatric Sports Lab podcast, and information about the society’s annual meetings. Its website also features a job board, a store, and opportunities to volunteer or donate. Through these programs and resources, PRiSM provides a professional network for people seeking to contribute to pediatric sports medicine research, education, and practice.
