## Description

PRO-Budućnost is a USAID peacebuilding and trust-building project that aims to foster trust and understanding among citizens of all ethnic and religious groups in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Led by Professor Nerzuk Ćurak, the project has been hailed as the largest peace project in the country. Its activities are carried out in over 60 municipalities and engage youth, NGOs, women's associations, religious communities, political leaders, media, and various levels of government institutions to collectively contribute to better citizen and nation understanding. The project is implemented by the American humanitarian organization Catholic Relief Services (CRS), in collaboration with partners such as Caritas BiH, KULT Institute for Youth Development, Interreligious Council of BiH (MRV), Citizens Forum Tuzla (FGT), Helsinki Citizens' Assembly Banja Luka (hCA), and Nansen Dialogue Center Mostar (NDC). Currently in its second phase, the project will continue until September 16, 2022. The project operates in a wide range of communities, including Banja Luka, Mostar, Zenica, and many others. PRO-Budućnost also offers various programs, such as the Small Grants Program, aimed at promoting peace and providing support to peace champions. With its commitment to peacebuilding and trust-building, PRO-Budućnost is a significant force in shaping a harmonious future for Bosnia and Herzegovina.
