## Description

ProClim is a prominent forum dedicated to climate change and global transformation based in Switzerland. Established in 1988 as part of the Science and Policy (SAP) platform of the Swiss Academy of Sciences (SCNAT), ProClim serves as a bridge between scientific research, political discourse, and public engagement. Its mission is to enhance understanding of climate change by synthesizing scientific knowledge and providing actionable insights for decision-makers and the general public.

The forum organizes various activities including events, discussions, and the publication of reports and position papers that inform and guide climate policy and community actions. Through its strategic initiatives outlined in the 2024–2028 Strategy, ProClim aims to foster a climate-neutral and climate-resilient future for Switzerland. The organization not only facilitates dialogue among scientists, policymakers, and society, but also emphasizes evidence-based decisions in both climate protection and adaptation efforts. By engaging with contemporary climate challenges, ProClim plays a crucial role in shaping a sustainable future.
