## Description

The mikeroweWORKS Foundation is an organization dedicated to reshaping America's perception of work. They believe that society has become disconnected from the fundamental aspects of civilization, such as food, energy, education, and the nature of work itself. This disconnection is due to the glorification of traditional, high-paying office jobs, while undermining the value of other paths to success. The foundation aims to bridge the skills gap and combat the soaring student loan debt by advocating for skilled labor. They challenge stigmas and stereotypes surrounding trades and vocational education, emphasizing that these paths are viable careers. Through their Work Ethic Scholarship Program, they provide financial aid to individuals pursuing skilled jobs. The foundation promotes the importance of work ethic, personal responsibility, delayed gratification, and a positive attitude through the S.W.E.A.T. Pledge. Their ultimate goal is to change the perception of work, making it cool and encouraging a new appreciation for hard work.
