About

Description

Progress House, founded in 1961 by individuals who had triumphed over alcoholism, has been a steadfast presence in Indianapolis, providing a much-needed space for recovery. Starting out in a modest home on North New Jersey Street, the organization soon relocated to larger premises on Talbot Street and then North Highland. For 32 years, Progress House operated from this location, aiding countless men on their path to recovery.

Now situated just one mile from downtown Indianapolis at 201 Shelby Street, Progress House can accommodate up to 100 men, offering a stay of 90 days to one year. Taking its commitment to recovery a step further, Progress House introduced Next Step on January 1, 2014, which provides independent, apartment-style sober living for 48 men who have successfully completed the program. Today, Progress House is a subsidiary of Aspire Indiana Health, an esteemed non-profit healthcare provider that specializes in holistic recovery services.

In addition to 12-Step programming, Progress House offers a comprehensive range of services, including primary medical care, behavioral health care, counseling, case management, skills training, medication-assisted treatment, peer support, recovery coaching, and employment assistance. Stay updated on our services, programs, and news by subscribing to our newsletter. Progress House has been saving lives and serving the community since 1961
