## Description

Project ’97 is a community-driven life roleplay server for Project Zomboid Build 42, where players create the stories rather than zombies or NPCs. Access is through a whitelist managed via Discord, and players can use the server’s launcher to join. The experience is supported by popular community mods and custom in-house additions designed for life roleplay.

Players can build everyday lives through systems for housing, work, businesses, money, farming, vehicles, and social interaction. They can rent or buy homes, furnish properties, run shops, hire staff, take delivery and public-service jobs, and trade with other players. Police and emergency medical services add structured roles, with features such as dispatch, investigations, arrests, treatment, and rescue. The server also offers phones, radio and voice communication, player identification, roleplay chat, computers, and shared cinema screenings. Farming includes additional crops, orchards, and permitted livestock, while vehicle systems support buying, leasing, renting, and garage storage. Project ’97 combines detailed in-game systems with a creative community to support an evolving, player-led town experience.
