## Description

De Nollen is an art and cultural destination in Den Helder, built around the legacy of Dutch artist Rudi van de Wint. On a former landfill, van de Wint created a distinctive landscape garden combining large-scale sculptures, painted bunkers and immersive artworks. The site is maintained by Stichting De Nollen, with his sons Ruud and Gijs helping preserve and develop the project.

Visitors can explore the grounds on guided tours, with online reservations available. The organization also offers educational programs and hosts activities and events. On-site facilities include a café and shop, while the location can be hired for private gatherings, dinners and weddings, with dedicated ceremony spaces and dining options. The website also provides practical information on opening times, admission, accessibility and travel. De Nollen presents art in an unusual outdoor setting, inviting visitors to experience the landscape and works as a connected whole. Its ongoing plans include developing a museum, while the foundation seeks support for the project and its continued stewardship of van de Wint’s artistic legacy.
