## Description

Projecte Abril is an educational initiative of the Fundació Neus Català, offering resources and training to support democratic, anti-fascist education. Its work responds to the erosion of democracy and the spread of hate speech and discrimination, promoting an intercultural and feminist approach that places the common good at its centre. The project aims to help educators and communities cultivate critical thinking, peaceful coexistence and shared futures.

Its resource bank brings together teaching materials organised by topic, educational stage and format. These resources address areas including school democracy, historical memory, feminism, peace culture, anti-racism and the promotion of the Catalan language. Projecte Abril also offers workshops, talks and tailored training sessions designed to provide practical tools for addressing hate speech in educational settings. Its website includes a searchable resource collection, opportunities to share materials, a dedicated space for educators and updates on the project’s activities. Through these services, Projecte Abril supports teachers and schools in making anti-fascism a lasting part of democratic education, rather than only a response to specific incidents.
