## Description

Project Pyre is a community-focused emulated game server built on the Aether emulator and file set, which the team says it purchased directly from the developers. Under new ownership, the project is reworking Aether’s content and systems, with particular attention to making end-game progression more varied and enjoyable. Sunvale has been removed as part of that redesign.

The server is being developed by a coordinated team working on both server and client systems. Planned features include purpose-built instances, raids, repeated class reviews with input from testers, refined core systems, and original features created for Project Pyre. The team also aims to involve players in major decisions and invites feedback from people familiar with Aether.

Players can download the Project Pyre client as a 6.0 GB RAR file, version 1.0.0, through a direct download or a MEGA mirror. Setup involves extracting the ProjectPyre folder and running Pyre Launcher.exe to update the client. The website also provides access to a Discord community, where players can follow development, share feedback, and organize guilds.
